7-Layer Bars

Bake at 350°F.

Ingredients

  1. 1 stick Butter

  2. 1 Cup Graham Crackers, crushed (can add up to 1/2 Cup more if desired)

  3. 1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

  4. 1 Cup Butterscotch Chips

  5. 1 Cup Nuts — candied sliced almonds, pecans, or similar

  6. 1 1/2 Cups Coconut Flakes (or just 1 Cup)

  7. 1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (other brands are more watery and don’t carmelize as well)

Steps

  1. Smash graham crackers and melt butter. Combine and press down as a crust in a 9x11 pan.

  2. Layer chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, nuts, and coconut on top of crust.

  3. Pour Eagle milk very slowly in thin ribbons over everything — use the WHOLE can.

  4. Bake at 350°F for ~25 min, until center is honey-colored.

If you want to be fancy, put nuts on top after the milk instead of underneath.

If the edges get dark or burn, the bars are still good.
